Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Gamma Alpha Eta Zeta Chapter was chartered on April 19, 2018 in Baltimore, Maryland by Quajalyn Amos, Kimberlyn Faulkner, Jessica Jones, Stacey Kernisan, Sheila LeVons-Stokes, Karnisha Martin and Christine Stokes-Beverley. Linked by a common vision to broaden the presence of Zeta in Montgomery County, specifically in the areas of Bethesda, Potomac, Germantown, Poolesville, and Montgomery Village, Soror Amos spearheaded the creation of a second graduate chapter in the middle and upper regions of the county.

The chapter was officially chartered and welcomed into the organization by the 16th Atlantic Regional Director, Janet Y. Bivins, Esq., and Maryland’s 10th State Director, Danielle R. Green, at the 2018 State of Maryland Leadership Conference.

Through its chartering, Gamma Alpha Eta Zeta chapter aims to foster an environment that is new, vibrant, and built upon a strong bond of sisterhood that upholds the ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Since its chartering, Gamma Alpha Eta Zeta has grown to a chapter of 22 dynamic women who are leaders in their respective communities and careers.
